Tippy Customs was born out of a passion for craftsmanship. As a knife enthusiast, I have always enjoyed blade design and production. I have strived for years to create unique and functional pieces of art.  For most of my life, I have carried a knife.  When the opportunity to create my own came, I jumped at the chance.  Since then, I have worked to refine the craft, for Tippy Customs, to what it is today.  I have grown from making kit knives at the kitchen table, to forging my own pattern welded steel, and creating one of a kind blades, even for former President Donald Trump.  Everyday, I am looking for the next level in craftsmanship. I believe, form follows function, but we still love form. I have always loved the "fancy" folders my mentor, Dwayne Dushane, makes and the meticulousness of the file-work, fit, and finish.

I am a God fearing man, that is active in our church, and community of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. My wife and I have 3 beautiful daughters, the oldest now a teenager (please pray), and the 2 youngest loving life. My best friend is the only other dude in the house, my dog Tucker.
